Terms and Conditions – Camping Pittoresque

 

  1. Applicability

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations, agreements, stays, and facilities of Camping Pittoresque.

1.2. By making a reservation or entering the campsite, the guest agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. Reservations & Payment

2.1. A reservation is considered final once the guest has received a booking confirmation and, if applicable, the required deposit has been paid.

2.2. A deposit of 40% of the total amount must be paid within 14 days after making the reservation.

2.3. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

2.4. In case of late payment, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

 

  1. Cancellation by the Guest

3.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (via e-mail).

3.2. Cancellation fees:

– Up to 30 days before arrival: a percentage of the total amount [to be specified].

– Within 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount.

3.3. No refund will be given in case of early departure.

3.4. Guests are advised to take out travel or cancellation insurance.

 

  1. Cancellation by the Campsite

4.1. The campsite may cancel a reservation in cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather conditions, government measures, fire, epidemics, technical failures).

4.2. In such cases, the guest will receive an alternative stay option or a full refund of the amount paid.

4.3. The campsite is not liable for additional costs such as travel or transportation expenses.

 

  1. Arrival and Departure

5.1. Check-in is possible from 15:00. Check-out must be completed before 11:00.

5.2. Late check-out may result in an additional night being charged.

5.3. The campsite may only be entered after registration at the reception.

 

  1. Pitches & Accommodations

6.1. Camping pitches and rental accommodations may only be used by the number of people indicated at the time of booking.

6.2. It is not permitted to add extra tents, vehicles, or persons without prior approval from the campsite.

6.3. The guest is responsible for keeping the pitch clean and tidy and leaving it in its original condition upon departure.

 

  1. House Rules

7.1. Quiet hours apply between 23:00 and 10:00. During these hours, all noise and disturbance must be avoided.

7.2. Music is allowed as long as it does not disturb other guests.

7.3. Barbecues are permitted only on electric or gas devices. Charcoal barbecues are strictly prohibited at all times.

7.4. Open fires or campfires are not permitted.

7.5. Pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash and do not cause nuisance.

 

  1. Visitors

8.1. Visitors must register at the reception and may be required to pay a visitor’s fee.

8.2. All visitors must leave the campsite no later than 23:00.

 

  1. Liability

9.1. Guests stay at the campsite at their own risk.

9.2. The campsite is not liable for any damage, theft, loss, or injury unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

9.3. Guests are liable for any damage caused to the campsite or other guests.

9.4. The campsite is not responsible for interruptions in water, electricity, or internet services.

 

  1. Safety

10.1. Guests must follow all instructions given by campsite staff.

10.2. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and designated non-smoking zones.

10.3. The use of dangerous materials or equipment is not permitted.

10.4. It is prohibited to damage natural areas, vegetation, or infrastructure.

 

  1. Privacy

11.1. The campsite processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR).

11.2. CCTV may be used for the safety of guests and property.

  1. Applicable Law

12.1. All agreements are governed by French law.

12.2. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Rodez, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
