Different Routes to Camping Pittoresque
Are you arriving via the A20? The last part of your journey will take you through scenic countryside roads. The first 30 minutes are on a good road, but near Figeac, your navigation system may direct you onto a winding backroad. Want to arrive feeling fresh and without motion sickness? Follow the route below instead.
Yes, this route may take one minute longer, but I guarantee you’ll actually reach the campsite three minutes faster—and without any winding roads!
Route from Clermont-Ferrand
Are you traveling from Clermont-Ferrand? Keep in mind that you’ll be driving through countryside roads for about 2.5 hours. From Aurillac, your navigation system will likely direct you via the fastest route, but that often means narrow, winding roads.
Want a smoother and more comfortable drive? After Aurillac, follow the signs to Maurs. This way, you’ll stay on a better N-road for longer, making your journey much more enjoyable!
Route from the Spanish Coast
Are you coming from the south, traveling from the Spanish coast? Your route will take you via Rodez. From there, it’s important to follow the signs to Decazeville.
Why? Because this route takes you along a quiet and pleasant road, with fewer curves, ensuring you arrive at the campsite feeling relaxed and refreshed!
